Riley Green to Coach Famous Contestants on ‘The Voice’ Spin-Off

The “There Was This Girl” and “Worst Way” singer has been announced as a coach for this new spin-off of NBC’s hit show.

NBC announced Tuesday, August 4th, that Riley Green will return to “The Voice” in 2027 as a coach on the franchise’s first celebrity spin-off.

Green will join Joe Jonas and Queen Latifah on “The Voice: Celebrity,” with Keke Palmer serving as host.

The spin-off will introduce a new format featuring celebrity contestants, including actors, musicians, influencers, athletes, comedians, and reality television stars, rather than undiscovered singers.

“The Voice: Celebrity” will follow the celebrities as they prepare, perform, and step outside their comfort zones while competing for the title.

The celebrity contestants for “The Voice: Celebrity” will be announced at a later date, while Queen Latifah and Riley Green will return for their second seasons as coaches.

Joe Jonas also has previous experience with the franchise, and Season 30 of The Voice will premiere September 21st at 8 p.m. on NBC.
