Liam Geagan, 25, of Kenduskeag, was arrested on Saturday at a residence in Kenduskeag, after a standoff.
Geagan is charged with:
- Domestic assault
- Criminal threatening
- Violation of probation.
Officials say additional charges are expected.
Kenduskeag, Maine Man Arrested After Standoff with Penobscot Deputies
The Penobscot County Sheriff's Office responded to a report of a domestic violence incident in Kenduskeag on Saturday August 8, 2026.
During the response, Geagan allegedly refused to cooperate with the deputies, resulting in a standoff situation.

Members of the Sheriff's Office Special Response Team eventually executed a search warrant at the home and arrested Geagan.
There are no reports of any injuries in this incident.
