Lincoln Man Accused of Impregnating His Adopted Daughter
Additional charges have been levied against a Lincoln man, who's accused of raping and impregnating his adopted daughter.
Investigators say 37-year-old Paul Fiske began sexually assaulting the girl when he and his wife adopted her at 14. He was charged with gross sexual assault and was told by a judge, in August, that he wasn't to have any contact with the victim. But now, WABI-TV reports he's been accused of contacting the girl and other witnesses, while he was in jail, asking them not to testify. A Penobscot County Grand Jury has added two more counts of gross sexual assault and a charge of sexual abuse of a minor.
Prosecutors say the new charges stem from Fiske having sexual contact with the girl in June. She gave birth to his child in October. He's pleaded not guilty to all charges.
