Two people were hurt when they were forced to leap from a truck as it sped down a logging road.

It sounds like a scene from an action/adventure movie. WABI-TV reports 34-year-old Damien Raymond and his passenger, 31-year-old Julie York, had to jump for it when Raymond's truck lost its brakes on Saturday afternoon. The pair had been on a fishing trip and were traveling on the Palmer Pond Road, near Moscow. Luckily, the road is only used for logging, so there was no other traffic to contend with.

When Raymond realized that he couldn't stop, he and York jumped out of the vehicle as it sped downhill. The truck crashed into several trees before coming to rest. Raymond was flown to a Bangor hospital where he's said to be in stable condition. York suffered minor injuries.
