Kenny Chesney Joins Country Summer on Bangor Waterfront

It's shaping up to be the summer of country on the Bangor waterfront, with Kenny Chesney becoming the latest major country star to announce a 2016 show in the city.

Chesney, who sold out Darling's Waterfront Pavilion in August of last year, will return on Saturday, July 9.

Nashville band Old Dominion will open for Chesney on this stop of the summer tour.

Chensey is the latest of five recently announced country shows on the Bangor waterftont that will be part of LiveNation's Country Megaticket*. The Megaticket, which goes on sale Friday, Jan. 29, will allow the holder to attend multiple country shows this summer.
