Kenduskeag Plaza In Bangor Closed Due To Potential Flooding

Folks who park their vehicle in Kenduskeag Plaza in Bangor are being to urged to move their vehicle.

The impending spring snowstorm, in conjunction with the astronomical high tide, has prompted the closure of Kenduskeag Plaza in Bangor. Bangor Public Works will close the parking area Thursday night, due to flooding concerns. Vehicles parked there overnight risk being flooded.

City officials say "vehicles can park in the off-street lots at the Columbia Street garage (upper or lower deck), or the Lower Abbott lot on Harlow Street until 8:00 a.m. on Friday morning." Vehicles must be moved from the lots Friday morning for snow removal.
