J.R. Mitchell Gets a Big Surprise In the Studio On His Last Day! [VIDEO]

It was a fun morning on Q-106.5 as J.R. Mitchell celebrated his last morning show. Many of his friends stopped by the night before to decorate the studio, in grand style. And two of them were there in the morning to record his reaction. Check it out!

I have to personally thank Mike Tuthill and Kevin Michaud for coming up with this idea. I knew I wanted to do something for J.R. on his last day, but I didn't have the level of imagination that these two possess. We have a photo booth, more balloons than you can imagine, and lots of props! And thanks to Mike for filming it. I got up so early, I tried filming it with the lens cap on. DOH!

Thanks to Mike, Kevin, Becky, Hayley, Randi, Sara, and Derek for meeting me here Tuesday night and decorating the studio, bringing in the photo booth, and having the vision to put this party together! We had a blast!

One word of warning....J.R. utters a little 'adult' language when he first opens the door!
