Maine Police Say a Body Was Found Near Tukey’s Bridge in Portland
Portland Police recovered a body near Tukey's Bridge on Tuesday.
Police Learned of the Deceased Person Monday Morning
It was just before noon when Portland Police got a call about a possible dead body in the mud flats near the old B&M Baked Beans factory. When officers arrived, they located the deceased person and secured their remains.
The Identity and Cause of Death Have Not Been Released
The body has been transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner, who will perform an autopsy to determine the person's identity and their cause of death.
