It’s National Mutt Day So Show Us Your Mutts

Today is National Mutt Day, so we want to see pictures of your non-purebred dogs.

I love mutts. Okay, so I love all dogs, regardless of their pure-or-mix bred status. But mutts are special. There's just something unique about a mutt. They don't look like other dogs. They tend to be happy and healthy and full of fun.

Our baby, Gifford, is a combination of Husky, Springer Spaniel, German Shepherd, Hound, and who-knows-what-else. Before Giff, we had Copernicus, who was a mix of Chocolate Lab and Jack Russell Terrier. And before Pernicus, it was the Husky/Lab mix, Floyd. Our only purebred was Lola, who was a Golden Retriever. All of our dogs have been sweet, even-tempered, and beloved.

I'm attaching pictures of all of our mutts (and Lola, because I can't exclude her for being full-blooded Golden Retriever) and would love to see pictures of yours.
