Hannaford Issues Recall on White American Deli Cheese

Hannaford has issued a recall on its white American deli cheese, sold over the past month.

The recall applies to Hannaford brand white American cheese, purchased in the deli departments of any of its stores between 9/8/2019 and 10/8/2019. This applies to any cheese that was freshly sliced by deli associates. The concern is for possible metal fragments in the product although, so far, no injuries or illnesses have been reported.

Customers are advised not to eat the cheese, but to return it to the store for a full refund.
