Hannaford in Hampden has issued a recall on some of its deli salads, which may contain pieces of broken plastic.

The recall is effective only in the Hampden location, where company officials say a sign holder in the store's deli case became damaged, and pieces of plastic may have broken off. The sign was located over the salad case in the deli, and may have contaminated the open dishes between May 30th and June 2nd.

Officials say the salads that may contain plastic include:

  • Red Bliss potato salad
  • General Tso's salad
  • Jalapeno cheddar salad
  • Korean noodle salad

Customers are cautioned not to eat the salads. They can be returned to the Hampden Hannaford store for a full refund.
