First-Ever UMaine ‘Witter Wonderland’ Holiday Farm Event Sunday

If you're looking for a fun holiday event for the family that includes cute animals, check out this UMaine event this weekend.

This is the first ever "Witter Wonderland" that takes place inside a barn. It's decorated with a holiday theme and sounds to be super-family friendly.

The organizers are asking you to dress up in your best holiday attire where you can check out their UMares, cows, and Icelandic sheep.

The event kicks off at 11 a.m. and goes until 3 p.m.

The event will feature costumes, holiday crafts, raffle baskets, $5 pony rides, and mock milking.

What's great is the admission and concessions go to support the UMaine Witter Farm animals and organizations.

Admission is as follows:

• Adults $8
• Kids $2
• Family $15
• Have a MaineCard?  Your admission is free.
