Etna Man Accused Of Domestic Violence Assault, Criminal Threatening
An Etna man accused of domestic violence was taken into custody after police used a K-9 to track the suspect.
Police on Oct. 19 went to the home of Stephen Benvissuto, 55, state police said Tuesday.
A K-9 dispatched to locate the suspect led officers onto Route 2 and then onto an ATV trail and into a field of tall grass.
Police said Benvissuto was located a short distance off the trail.
Benvissuto was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Penobscot County Jail in Bangor.
He was issued summonses for aggravated domestic violence assault and criminal threatening.
