Dover-Foxcroft May Day Egg Hunt is This Sunday May 1st
Mayday is an emergency code word. It is used around the world in voice communications. You might see a war movie in which an airplane has been hit by rocket fire. The pilot gets on his radio and calls "mayday, mayday, mayday" to tell that his plane is in danger of crashing to the ground.
Don’t tell your kids that part when you gauge whether they want to participate in a May Day Egg Hunt in Dover Foxcroft
Foxcroft Academy will be hosting a May Day egg hunt and more this Sunday, May 1.
Admission is by donation and all children through 5th grade are welcome to participate.
And those donations will stay in the community and are going towards children’s charities in Dover Foxcroft.
The event will be on Foxcroft Academy’s east lawn by the teacher’s parking lot.
There are also lawn games with prizes, pony rides, and face painting for the kids too.
Pony rides have a fee of not to exceed $5 and are decided by the providers.
On to the Egg Hunt! Here's the schedule:
- From 1 PM until 1:30 PM children younger than Kindergarten
- 1:45 PM to 2:15 PM is the time for Kindergarteners up to 2nd grade
- And then 2:30 PM to 3 PM is 3rd to 5th graders.
Fun for the kids and you get to teach your kids about helping other kids with those donations.
