Deer Isle Woman Dies In Sedgwick Accident

A Deer Isle woman died in an accident in Sedgewick on Wednesday.

WABI-TV reports the accident happened just before 6:30 Wednesday afternoon on Caterpillar Road. Samantha Hutchinson was passing a line of traffic when her vehicle struck an SUV that was making a left-hand turn into a driveway. The 31-year-old was thrown from the vehicle and died at the scene. The two people in the SUV suffered minor injuries.

The Hancock County Sheriff's Office is investigating the crash.
