Great day for the family to visit Cole Land Transportation Museum in Bangor before 5 p.m. today as they are closing for the season.

It’s Veterans Day. And when you visit the Museum today, you will notice two Jeeps inside the museum. And each Jeep has food in it.

This is for a fund raiser for Maine Veterans Project.

MVP distributes the food to Maine veterans who are struggling.

And the food gathering has a twist that veterans will understand very well.

The reason there are 2 Jeeps

If you support Navy, Marine and Coast Guard drop your non perishable food donations in that Jeep.

Or choose the Army, Air Force, Space Force Jeep to drop your donation into.

It’s like Voting, but actually who will win is all veterans who are down on their luck and are food insecure in Maine.

Fill up both Jeeps, it is all going for a great cause as we salute all vets today.

If you would rather make a cash donation, that’s great too.

Cole Land Transportation Museum’s last day of the season is today, and they are open til 5 p.m.

They  will reopen April 30th, 2023 for their First Annual Founder’s Day celebrating the legacy of Galen Cole.
