Brewer Business To Honor Veterans With Free Oil Changes
Just before Veteran's Day on Saturday November 10th, Rideout's Automotive in Brewer will be offering free oil changes for veterans, according to WABI TV 5. They have opened up 50 slots for veterans to come in and get their cars all changed up. It's a great idea that they've been doing annually for some time now.
If it's something you're eligible to participate in, give them a call and reserve a spot. Obviously when you hang out your shingle for free oil changes, you're going to get a lot of action. and there wouldn't be any way to help everyone, so they're doing it by reservation. Its a great service, considering the average oil change around the area, can cost anywhere from $25 - $40.
Service manager Anna West thinks it's a no-brainer, and they love doing it.
They go out and they do so much for us. You know, we wouldn't be here if it weren't for them. So, this is a fabulous way for us to be able to give back to the veterans in our community.
We could not possibly agree more. In addition to veterans, they are extending the opportunity to spouses of veterans who have passed...another group of folks who have had to pay the ultimate sacrifice for their country.
They are located at 149 Bennett Road in Brewer, and if you would like to call and make a reservation, they can be reached at 989-2344.
