A Christmas light display in Boothbay that brings visitors from around the state will continue this year, their 6th year in a row. Big difference in 2020 (how many times have you heard that in the past 9 months) is they’ve come up with an innovative way to bring us this annual family holiday tradition. Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens will light up the peninsula, but this year the event will be a drive through experience. This will ensure the Covid 19 safety precautions will be followed. No walking in, you’ll drive in.

There are also changes with the ticket policy. All tickets must be purchased in advance. There will be no tickets sold onsite as in the past. When you purchase your tickets on the Gardens Aglow website you’ll be buying a specific date and time and you must arrive on time.

Nothing like Christmas lights sparkling in a beautiful part of Maine. And another reason 2020 isn’t going to get us down, it’s just a year that we have to do traditional things a little differently. But we still get the end result.
