Just yesterday Cindy you and I were talking about how well Blake Shelton is getting along with Gwen Stefani and same for Miranda Lambert and her husband Brendan McLoughlin.

Eddie Stubbs, a longtime presence at the Grand Ole Opry, is retiring.

He will sign off for good at the end of July.

He arrived in Nashville in1995 and got a gig as a fiddle player with Kitty Wells.

A week later he was hired as a DJ at WSM-AM the station that carries the Grand Ole Opry.

He auditioned for the role of Opry announcer very soon after, and got the gig.

And has had it for 25 years.

He also has the record for longest to hold the 7 to Midnight job at WSM.

Garth Brooks  fans have been patiently awaiting the country superstar's upcoming album, called Fun.

But Garth announced this week on his Inside Studio G Facebook broadcast he is holding back on its release. He doesn’t want to release it during the pandemic. Plus he’s working on something else that he hopes will accompany the album release. So think Fall 2020.

Wonder what else he could be working on?  He’s done the dive bars, the huge stadium, the first to do the concert in a car at the drive in deal.
