This week, it will to hard to miss the biggest "supermoon" of the year.

April 7-8, the moon will glow brightly in the night sky. The April full "Pink Moon" is the biggest "supermoon" of 2020. According to EarthSky.org, "supermoons" appear 7% bigger, and up to 15% brighter than an average-size full moon.

April's full, supermoon, is the closest the moon comes to earth this year. It's one of two lunar perigees that comes closer than 221,830 miles to earth. The next is October 16.

2020 is a unique lunar year as it features 13 Full Moons, four supermoons, and a rare blue moon.
