If you're headed to the Bangor Waterfront on Thursday to see Eric Church in concert, I encourage you to make a stop Downtown to hear a group that hails from Southern Maine. 'The Ghost of Paul Revere' calls their music 'holler-folk.' And it's awesome!

Each Thursday during the summer, Broad Street in Bangor turns into the Fresh Air Market, with a variety of vendors offering up their wares. You're apt to find a little bit of everything, from homemade bread, to jewelry, to delicious food. And the best part is, it's all being offered by local artisans and merchants.

In addition to the marketplace, each Thursday features a free 'Cool Sounds Concert' in Westmarket Square. And every week offers a different musical style. This week's group calls themselves 'The Ghost of Paul Revere,' and they're great! The music is highly energetic folk, with plenty of instruments (including the harmonica, which I love!), and some talented vocalists. Check out the video and make time to stop by! In addition, Lincoln singer/songwriter Jacob Augustine will perform, so it's a two-fer! The Fresh Air Market and Cool Sounds Concerts run from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Don't miss it!
