
Lincoln Man Arrested For Bangor Convenience Store Robbery
A Lincoln man is facing charges for a convenience store robbery in Bangor.
Bangor Police Have Charged a Lincoln Man For a Convenience Store Robbery
Scott Dorn, 23, of Lincoln is charged with robbery and criminal threatening with a dangerous weapon.
Bangor Robbery Suspect Wore Clothes Consistent With Several Other Robberies
Bangor Police arrested Dorn Wednesday night after receiving a call of a robbery at the Circle K, 489 Broadway in Bangor. A description of a vehicle connected to the crime was given to police. Officer Samantha Ellis spotted the vehicle and police were able to stop it and take Dorn into custody.
Officials say that at the time of his arrest, Dorn was wearing clothing that matched the suspect's description from all the previous robberies. Surveillance photos of the suspect in other recent robberies showed a person in a black mask, gray North Face sweatshirt, possible black rain jacket underneath, black pants, brown work boots, and gray gloves with possible texture on the palms.
There have been at least three others in recent weeks, two at this same store on the corner of Broadway and Griffin Road. At this point, he's only charged with one count of each offense, although police say they have identified him as a suspect in the other robberies.

In the other convenience store robberies. Bangor Police reported the suspect brandished a knife before fleeing with an undisclosed amount of cash.
Lincoln Man May Face Charges for Additional Robberies
Dorn is currently being held at the Penobscot County Jail. Police say this case is being actively investigated and additional charges may be forthcoming.
