A Massachusetts man is facing charges after allegedly breaking into a Benton home. A woman called to tell police she confronted two men and they took off in a vehicle. Tyrone Fleurimont was arrested when police stopped the vehicle and found drugs and cash.
The father of missing toddler Ayla Reynolds maintains that he doesn’t know what happened to his daughter and says his attorneys will file documents in court in response to a wrongful death lawsuit filed five months ago by the girl’s mother, Trista Reynolds. Ayla disappeared from her father’s home in 2011 and is presumed to be dead. DiPietro says he’s cooperating with police
A consultant, hired to analyze Maine’s proposed legal marijuana laws says the state should be careful to make sure the rules shrink the black market for pot and provide help for people with substance use disorder. Nominations are open for the Rainbow Awards, which recognizes individuals who have supported the Bangor area’s LGBTQ communities. It’s all part of Bangor Pride Week, which is coming up next month Find more information on the Bangor Pride Festival’s Facebook page.
It will be a day of caring on the Bangor Waterfront, from 11 to 2 on Tuesday, May 21st, when non-profit Community Care offers bagged lunches and bags of hygiene items to anyone who can use them. In addition, there will be live music and representatives from Community Care and other local agencies to offer information about available resources.
