Officials are asking for the public's help finding a Hermon man who's been missing since April 14th. 25-Police say 25-year-old Ryan Messer may be wearing sweatpants and a plaid insulated shirt, and carrying an olive colored backpack , riding a gray mountain bike. Anyone with information is asked to call the Penobscot County Sheriff's office.

The hunt for two missing Presque Isle brothers continues, and now police say they've spoken with the boys' father but he's not cooperating. 12 year old Joel Strother and his 10 year old brother Carter haven't been in school since February. Police believe they may be with their father in the Carolinas, possibly in a metallic colored GMC Terrain with temporary plates.

Forest Rangers are warning residents that, despite all the rain lately, it’s a dangerous time for wildfires. The sun is at an extreme angle with the earth right now and will dry out the topsoil very quickly, so on dry, warm days, the vegetation can ignite easily and the fire will spread quickly. Officials say it will be that way until everything really starts to green up.

Mainers are reminded that their studded snow tires need to be removed today. Having studded snow tires on a vehicle after May 1st could result in a fine. Studded tires wear ruts into the pavement faster than regular tires and so they’re illegal to use between the months of May and October.
