Auburn Man Sues KFC Over A Bone In His Pot Pie

An Auburn man is suing the Scarborough KFC restaurant after allegedly finding a bone in his chicken pot pie.

Centralmaine.com reports Willie Blanchette says he bought the chicken pot pie in October of 2015. According to court documents, Blanchette claims to have badly damaged several teeth after biting down on a large piece of bone that he says was in the pie. He's citing pain and suffering and mental anguish that required medical treatment. In addition, he says the permanent damages have caused a 'loss of enjoyment of life.' Blanchette is seeking damages plus attorney's fees.

A manager at the Scarborough restaurants told Centralmaine.com that she didn't know anything about the complaint and directed them to corporate headquarters. As of Wednesday evening, no return call had been received.
