Annual Cool Sounds Summer Concert Series Lineup Announced

The annual tradition of free live music in downtown Bangor starts next month. Here's who's playing.

Six weeks of free outdoor concerts in Downtown starts next month. Bangor's 13th Annual Cool Sounds Concert Series gets underway in July 5. This year the concerts will move back to West Market Square. The concerts are every Thursday night July through August.

Here's who's playing:

• July 5th: Workin' Dead (Grateful Dead Cover Band)
• July 12 - Tiki Thom
• July 19 - FLASH! In the Pans (Steel Drums)
• July 26 - Maine St. R&B Revue
• August 2 - Primo Cubano (Cuban Music)
• August 9 - Twisted Swing Big Band

The shows start at 5 p.m. each week.
