Alfred Man Arrested on Violent Felony Warrant

An Alfred man was arrested over the weekend on a violent felony warrant.

State Police went to a home in Alfred on Sunday, looking for 20-year-old Brandon Daigle, who had two active warrants for his arrest, for criminal threatening with a dangerous weapon, and another for violation of conditions of release. The felony criminal threatening charge is extraditable out of the New England states. Police say the second warrant stemmed from violating existing conditions of release due to a previous OUI charge.

Daigle was taken into custody without incident. He will remain in jail until his arraignment hearing.
