3-year-old Girl Overdoses on Heroin in Brownfield, Mom Arrested
A 3-year-old child is recovering after accidentally overdosing on heroin.
The girl's mother, Josselyn Henry, called 911 after finding the girl unconscious near some heroin that had been left unattended and within her reach. Oxford County Sheriff's Deputies responded to the apartment on Main Street in Brownfield and, according to WABI-TV, determined that the mother had left the girl alone in the room for a few minutes.

After being rushed to Bridgton Hospital, the girl is expected to recover from the overdose. Henry is facing charges, including endangering the welfare of a child.
This is the second type of story this month. Last week, an Oakland child died after suffering a medical emergency in a home that contained about $700,000 in drugs, including fentanyl, meth, and crack cocaine. The child's mother, Ashley Malloy, is facing charges, including aggravated drug trafficking.
