How Do You Pronounce His Last Name? Charette? Chevette?

Every child's favorite entertainer, Rick Charette, will appear this Saturday at the Playland Adventures Kid Fest! Listen in as Rick talks about most kids' biggest challenge when they meet him. And why he doesn't blow bubbles on stage anymore!

I chatted this week with Rick, about the upcoming shows, and about some of the funny things connected to working with children. It's like Art Linkletter always said, "Kids say the Darndest Things!"

Rick Charette will perform twice this Saturday, at 11 a.m. and at 2 p.m! Kid Fest runs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Cross Insurance Center in Bangor. Admission to Kid Fest is $5 per person or $15 for a family of four. Tickets to see Rick Charette are $8 each, and that includes all the fun of Kid Fest!

Kids can enjoy the bounce houses, G-Force Laser Tag, face painting, games, and more. The Easter Bunny will be there too, and the first 500 kids to see him will get a sweet treat!

While the kids are having fun, Mom and Dad can spend some time with our "grown-up" vendor booths, so there's something for everyone. Here's a list of some of the folks who will be there!
