6 days ago I am a huge fan of "The Big Bang Theory." I love the characters and the humor. But, even though I always expect the show to be hilarious, every once in a while they surprise me. Like the latest episode when Howard does impressions during a game of Dungeons and Dragons. He's awesome!

Others (like mine) tend to take a lighter approach to traditional relationships.....like this Mom and Son, who decided to forgo the traditional Mom/Son waltz at the wedding for something a little....funkier!
2 weeks ago Mother's Day is this weekend and so I started thinking about television Moms. I think everyone has their own favorite. The Mom they wish they had....or the kind of Mom they hope to be. My favorite is Sophia Petrillo from the Golden Girls. She's funny, sassy, and full of energy, even at 80 years old. I hope I'm like that when I'm an old lady!

2 weeks ago As we gear up for this summer's Waterfront Concert Series, I keep going to You Tube, looking for cool videos of some of the artists we'll see in Bangor this summer. I've always loved the Dierks Bentley song "Beautiful World" and especially the fact that he sings it with Maine native Patty Griffin!
