York’s Wild Kingdom Amusement Park Up For Sale

A southern Maine zoo and amusement park is up for sale, for just over $14 million.

Have you ever thought of running away and joining the circus? Well, this might be your chance, although it's an amusement park and zoo that's up for sale in York Beach. York's Wild Kingdom is on the market for $14.2 million dollars listed through KRE Brokerage Group.

The 58.4 acre park includes an animal zoo, that features everything from exotic animals to a Bengal tiger. There's an amusement park, with a haunted house and plenty of rides, the Butterfly Kingdom, mini-golf, batting cages, paddle boats, and refreshment stands. Co-owner Joe Barberi told the Portland Press Herald that he's really in no hurry to sell the park and says it will open, as usual, on Memorial weekend.
