Woman Pinned Between Tree And Car Dies In Eddington [UPDATE]

A woman died in Eddington on Monday afternoon when she became pinned between a car and a tree.

UPDATE: Officials have identified the woman as Peggy Moro, 79, of Eddington. No further details have been released.

Chief Deputy William Birch of the Penobscot County Sheriff's Office says the report came in at just after 12:30 p.m.. The incident happened on private property in Eddington. Moro was pronounced dead when emergency responders arrived on the scene.

This case remains under investigation.
