Weekend Storm To Bring Spring Snow To Much Of Maine
While some areas may only see a dusting of snow, parts of Maine could see it moderate accumulations.
The National Weather Service is forecasting another round of spring snow Saturday. Overnight rain showers will transition to snow for the Bangor and Downeast areas, which are expected to see up to 2 inches of snow. Snow and rain may mix at times throughout the afternoon. Further north, where a winter weather advisory has been issued, the Lincoln and Greenville areas are forecast to see 4 to 5 inches of wet snow.
In addition, coastal areas are under a Gale Watch. Winds are forecast to blow 20-30 MPH at times, with gusts to 45 MPH.
