Two motorcyclists who sustained serious injuries in a hit-and-run crash are offering a reward for the arrest of the driver who hit them.

Where Was the Crash?

Maine State Police say the crash happened at around noon on Sunday, May 28th, at the intersection of Route 1 and Harris Road in Stockton Springs. The two victims were riding the same motorcycle when they were struck by a white pickup truck, that then fled the scene. Both riders suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries and were transported to Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor.

The pickup that struck them is described as a white older model GMC/Chevrolet 4-door pickup with black rims and a small white sticker on the back window. It also should have sustained some front end damage in the crash.

What is the Reward?

Now, the victims are offering a reward of $5,000 to anyone who comes forward with information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person responsible for the crash and for fleeing the scene. The driver of the motorcycle says that reward will be doubled to $10,000 if the information is received in the next seven days.
