Two Arrested In Limington For Alleged Mobile Meth Lab
Two people are facing charges after police found evidence of a methamphetamine manufacturing operation in a parked vehicle.
The man and woman were arrested Tuesday afternoon, after a State Police Trooper and a York County Deputy came across their vehicle parked at a business on Route 25 in Limington. A search of the vehicle turned up crystal meth, and several items used to make the drug.
Amanda Merrifield, 33, of Limington and Jason Adams, 34, of Charlotte, North Carolina were both charged with Operation of a Methamphetamine Lab in a Motor Vehicle. They were taken to the York County Jail, where Merrifield's bail was set at $1,000. Adams is being held without bail because of a probation violation from a previous arrest. State Police say he was a passenger in a vehicle pursuit on May 21st.
