Bar Harbor Driver Charged for Trenton Hit and Run of a Bicyclist
A bicyclist was sent to the hospital after a hit and run in Trenton.
The Driver is From Bar Harbor
Jason Norwood, 29, of Bar Harbor is charged with leaving the scene of a personal injury crash.

The Cyclist Was Taken to a Local Hospital
The Hancock County Sheriff's Office responded to the Bar Harbor Road Friday in Trenton to a report of a hit and run. When they arrived, they found a bicyclist who had been struck by a vehicle. The cyclist, whose name has not been released, was transported to a local hospital with unspecified injuries.
The Driver Was Found in Lamoine
Sometime after the incident, Jason Norwood was located in Lamoine and admitted to the Sheriff's Deputies that he was driving the vehicle that struck the bicycle. Officials told WABI-TV that he drove over the white fog line on the Bar Harbor Road and encountered the cyclist. He's been charged with leaving the scene of a personal injury crash.
This incident remains under investigation.
