A Stolen Tractor was Found in Kenduskeag, Charges are Pending
The Penobscot County Sheriff's Office reports that a tractor stolen from a Hermon business has been recovered.
When Was the Tractor Stolen?
According to the Penobscot County Sheriff's Office, the tractor was stolen during the early morning hours of Sunday, April 23rd. It was located on the lot at Greenway Equipment Sales on Outer Hammond Street in Bangor. Surveillance video in Freedom Park in Hermon recorded images of a dark-colored truck with a trailer, loaded with the stolen tractor.
What Type of Tractor Is It?
Officials described the tractor as a 1983-1989 Bolens compact tractor. It has a front end loader and is outfitted with turf tires. Surveillance images of the truck and tractor were shared on the Facebook page for the Penobscot Count Sheriff's Office. The picture of the tractor included in the Facebook post is from an earlier date. Greenway officials say it was not parked next to the road when it was stolen.
Where Was the Stolen Tractor Found?
According to an update from the Sheriff's Office, the tractor was located in Kenduskeag on Thursday afternoon, along with the vehicle and flatbed trailer that allegedly moved it from Greenway Equipment Sales. Officials say charges are pending in this case.
