The third suspect connected to a shooting last week in Presque Isle has been taken into custody.

The Aroostook County Sheriff's Office received a Crime Stoppers tip on Sunday evening that Jason Alexander, 44, was currently at a home in Blaine. Alexander is one of three suspects connected to a shooting on Monday, September 9th in Presque Isle and was also wanted on 3 separate, and unrelated, warrants for failure to appear in court. Officials went to the home took Blaine into custody without incident.

Also arrested at the home were 36-year-old Jordan Field of Blaine and 50-year-old Ned Ketchum of Mars Hill. They are both charged with Hindering Apprehension of Prosecution, a class D misdemeanor. The other two suspects, Brittony Britton and Jomo White, were taken into custody last week.

Police responded to a home on North Road early Monday morning, September 9th, after the victim called 911 to say he'd been shot and was 'dying.' The victim was taken to a local hospital, where he had surgery, before being flown by LifeFlight to Northern Light EMMC in Bangor. Police have said they believe the four people knew each other, and that this was an isolated incident.
