
Maine State Police Say 1 Person is Dead After a Crash in Surry
One person died and two others were injured in a crash in Surry.

Mark Nevells, 47, of Brooksville was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Two other drivers, whose names were not released, were transported to a local hospital, where they were treated and released.
Surry, Maine Fatal Crash Involved 3 Vehicles
Maine State Police were called to the Blue Hill Road in Surry on Friday afternoon, at approximately 2:44 pm.
Officials say the initial investigation indicates that a 2015 Subaru Forester, driven by Mr. Nevells, was traveling northbound on Blue Hill Road in Surrywhen it crossed the center line and struck two southbound vehicles.
The drivers of a Honda Fit and Ram 2500, that were hit by the Forester, sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
This crash remains under investigation, including what caused the Forester to cross into oncoming traffic.
