Strong Thunderstorms Possible Wednesday For Much of Maine
The mid-week weather could get a little wild, with the possibility of strong storms Wednesday.
The National Weather Service is warning of the possibility of server weather mid-week. Forcasters say Wednesday will be warm and muggy, which will lead to showers and thunderstorms that may be on the stronger side. The NWS Storm Prediction Center has placed much of Maine in a "Marginal Risk" for severe weather. Coastal areas may only experience occasional thunder storms throughout the evening hours.
The Bangor area can expect mostly sunny days though the week, with Wednesday being the only day with a good chance of Thunderstorms. Memorial Day weekend, so far, looks like sun with highs near 70.
