Strong Thunderstorms Possible Wednesday

Forecasters are warning of the possibility of strong thunderstorms around the state Wednesday.

The National Weather Service is advising those who have outdoor plans Wednesday to keep an eye to the sky. Strong thunderstorms may pop up around the Bangor area this afternoon, into the evening.

Some storms may produce gusty winds, heavy rain and hail. Strong storms are most likely to pop up across western, central and Downeast areas.
