You may not have bought stamps recently, but hopefully you will get the connection.

Tomorrow is Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive.

The National Association of Letter Carriers hosts their annual food collection on the 2nd Saturday in May every year. And that’s tomorrow.

And yes you are correct, the drive was not done during the past 2 years of pandemic.

But it is back tomorrow, and hopefully it will be bigger and better than ever.
The need is certainly there. And here. Everywhere.
More and more are feeling the hard pinch at the grocery store. And so many other places too.
Although this is the largest single day food drive in all of America, please know that when you help, you are helping your neighbors, your friends, your fellow Mainers.
The Letter Carriers are partnering with United Way of Eastern Maine
All you need to do to participate is put your non perishable food donations in a bag near or hanging on your mailbox. The postie will do the rest, and all donated food gets put to soon as soon as possible.

2022 is the 30th Year for Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive.

Your local letter carriers thank you.

And as they say

Keep those cards and letters coming in
