Four people are facing charges after a drug bust in Solon.
Two of the Suspects in a Solon Drug Bust Are from Outside Maine
Two of the suspects are from Maine:
- Cory Miller, 36, of Solon is charged with aggravated drug trafficking.
- Kaylee Cowan, 31, of Waterville was arrested on an outstanding warrant from Kennebec County.
The other two suspects are from out-of-state:
- Derek Sicard, 32, of Massachusetts is charged with aggravated trafficking.
- Sir Michael James, 47, of Rhode Island is charged with aggravated drug trafficking.
Cowan will be transferred to the Kennebec County Jail. The other three suspects are set to appear in a Somerset County Court in December.

Maine Police Seized a Large Amount of Cash and a Loaded Gun in a Drug Bust
The charges stem from a months-long investigation into alleged drug trafficking at the home on South Solon Road. A search warrant was executed at the address at around 10:00 Friday morning. Several people were at home, including some who the police say were involved in a fatal crash in Solon in early August.
As a result of the search, WABI-TV reports Police seized $18,000 in suspected drug money, a loaded pistol, drug paraphernalia, and documentation.
