Silver Alert Canceled – 87-Year-Old Oakfield Man Found Safe
A Silver Alert has been canceled after an 87-year-old man from Oakfield was found safe.
Who's Missing?
The Aroostook County Sheriff's Office was asking for the public's help locating Gordon Morton, 87, of Oakfield.
Where Was He Last Seen?
It was approximately 9:30 Thursday night when Mr. Morton was last seen at his River Road home. Mr. Morton suffers from cognitive issues so his family became concerned when he failed to show up at his sister's house in Oakfield, as planned. Maine Department of Public Safety spokesperson Shannon Moss says his possible last known location was Enfield but he may be in the Presque Isle or Houlton areas.

What Does He Look Like?
Mr. Morton is a white male, 6 feet tall, and 155 pounds, with white hair, and blue eyes. His family says he has a beard but they haven't been able to find an updated photo of him with it. When he was last seen, Mr. Morton was wearing a green flannel shirt, black pants, and black shoes.
Officials say he was driving a 2013 gray Buick Lacrosse with Maine registration plate 315TN.
Again: The Maine Department of Public Safety says Mr. Morton has been safely located.
