Police have canceled a Silver Alert for a man from Merrill who went missing after leaving his home Wednesday afternoon.

Where Was He Last Seen?

UPDATE - Maine Department of Public Safety spokesperson Shannon Moss says Craig Omeara, 69, of Merrill has been found safe. He was reported missing on Wednesday afternoon. Earlier that day, he had left his home on Clark Road to go to the back of his property, where he has a camp. Mr. Omeara has health problems, so the police were concerned.

What Does He Look Like?

He's described as a white male, 5'11" tall, and 210 pounds. He has white hair and hazel eyes. When he left his residence on Wednesday, Mr. Omeara was wearing jeans, a blue t-shirt, and loafers. Police say he has no cellphone or means of communication.

Merrill is located in Southern Aroostook County, less than 25 miles west of Houlton.
