
Missing Hermon Woman is Found Safe
A Silver Alert has been canceled after a missing Hermon woman was found safe.
Where Was She Last Seen?
The Penobscot County Sheriff's Office has issued the alert for Diana Collins, 85, of Hermon. The last time she was seen was on Wednesday, January 3rd, 2024 at around 11:00 in the morning. At that time, she was leaving her Newburgh Road home on foot. Officials don't know in which direction she traveled.
Again, she has been found safe.
What Do We Know About Ms. Collins?
Ms. Collins suffers from cognitive issues. She's described as a white female, 6' tall, and 200 pounds, with brown hair and hazel eyes.
Why Do Authorities Believe She May Have Taken a Bus?
Maine Department of Public Safety spokesperson Shannon Moss says Deputies believe she may have taken a bus because the last ping on her cellphone was off the Maguire Road in Kennebunk.
