Our favorite Canadian weather forecaster has an unusual warning for this month - pancakes! Frankie MacDonald says pancakes will flood the streets!

Over the winter, we enjoyed predictions of severe weather from the Nova Scotia forecaster. He usually stands in an area that always seems to have high winds, and can be heard yelling over the gale to have his forecast heard.

But this time, Frankie is in a more sedate atmosphere, without all the wind. And he's not predicting snow, but rather, pancakes! They'll hit restaurants throughout New England and flood the lakes. So, he's advising us to have our butter and syrup ready!

Why are we getting pancake warnings? Well, I can't seem to find an explanation anywhere. But I'm guessing it has something to do with a certain Portland-area controversy involving three pancakes, a toddler, and an outspoken diner owner!
