A couple sitting at a train crossing grabbed their camera when they saw what was about to happen. A speeding train ran into a semi that had become stuck on the tracks. The driver jumped to safety but two engineers were injured.

The husband and wife and the man's father were sitting at an intersection in Mer Rouge, Louisiana and noticed a large truck that appeared to be stuck on the tracks. And when they heard the whistle from the oncoming train, they grabbed the camera and started filming. The result is dramatic and scary.

KNOE-TV said on October 7th that the driver of the truck was able to jump before the collision. Two engineers on the train were injured but are in stable condition. The couple in the video refer to a gas leak. KNOE reports the area was evacuated until authorities could determine it was argon and not dangerous to area residents.

We're glad no one was killed. And that the driver of the truck in front of this couple had the foresight to get out of the way before the train hit!
