River Drivers Supper Tomorrow in Lincoln Kicks Off Lincoln’s 2013 Homecoming Weekend!
The 66th Annual River Driver's Supper, put on by the 1st Congregational Church of Lincoln, will take place tomorrow afternoon at Ludden's Field on Route 2 in Lincoln from 4 to 6 p.m.
The River Driver's Supper is a Maine Institution, that has been taking place for 65 years, and people come from all over to enjoy their friends, the fellowship...oh, and of course the food! Their famous bean-hole beans are the very best around! Add hot dogs, potato salad, cole-slaw, reflector oven biscuits, and plenty of home-made sweets, and you've got one amazing meal! If you're busy and can't stay to enjoy the meal, not a problem, you can even get the supper to go! The River Driver's Supper kicks off a busy weekend of events in Lincoln that kicks off Lincoln's Homecoming Weekend! Q-106.5 will be on-location at the River Driver's Supper from 3 to 5 p.m. with dinner being served from 4 to 6 p.m. We hope to see you there!
