Three children were present in a Farmington home when officials responded to a possible overdose and found an alleged meth lab.

Farmington Police answered the call on Knowlton Corner Road at around 1 a.m. on Wednesday, where a man was revived with Narcan and taken to Franklin Memorial Hospital. But while officers were there, they noticed items used in the production of methamphetamine and notified the Maine Drug Enforcement Agency. In addition, Newscenter Maine reports police contacted DHHS to remove three children, ages 7, 3, and 1, who were in the home at the time.

After an investigation, 37-year-old Douglas Theriault and 28-year-old Katherine Theriault were charged with aggravated unlawful operation of a methamphetamine lab and endangering the welfare of a child and taken to Franklin County Jail.
